How to download the videos of your Hotmart courses

Hotmart lets you watch your courses online, but it gives you no way to keep the videos as files on your computer. If access expires, the product is taken down or you lose your connection, the course is gone. This guide explains how to keep a personal copy of what you bought.

Step by step

  1. Get Miteca at miteca.lat. After paying you get your key on screen and by email, along with the download link.
  2. Install Miteca on your Windows computer and activate it with your key.
  3. Sign in to Hotmart inside the app with your email and the code you receive.
  4. Miteca lists the courses you bought. Select the ones you want to keep and choose a destination folder.
  5. The app downloads each lesson's videos and materials, organized by module. If the connection drops, it resumes where it left off.
  6. Open the folder and watch your lessons offline, whenever you want.

Frequently asked questions

Is it legal to download my Hotmart courses?

Miteca is meant for keeping a personal copy of courses you bought and access with your own account. Redistributing, reselling or sharing what you download is not allowed. Also check Hotmart's terms and the rights of each course's author.

Does it work with every course?

It works with the courses that show up in your Hotmart account. Miteca does not download DRM-protected content, so some lessons may be left out.

Do I need internet to watch?

Only to download. After that you watch offline from your folder.

Does it work on Mac or phones?

For now Miteca is Windows only.

What happens with my email and password?

They are used only inside the app, on your computer. They never go through our servers, and neither do your courses.

How much does it cost?

COP 60,000 (about US$15) as a one-time payment, charged in Colombian pesos through Mercado Pago. The license is perpetual, includes one year of updates and can be activated on up to two of your computers.
