Who we are

What Miteca is

Miteca is a Windows desktop app that lets you download to your own computer the courses you bought on Hotmart, signing in with your own account. Miteca is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Hotmart.

Your license

• When you pay, you receive a personal, non-transferable license key.
• The license never expires and lets you activate Miteca on up to two of your computers. You can release a computer from the app to use it on another one.
• It includes one year of updates from the purchase date. After that year, the app keeps working with the latest version you were entitled to.

Permitted use

Miteca is for keeping a backup copy of content you already have legitimate access to, for your personal use. You may not use it to:

• redistribute, resell, share or publish downloaded courses;
• access courses you did not buy or accounts that are not yours;
• circumvent technical protection measures. Miteca does not download DRM-protected content.

You are responsible for complying with Hotmart's terms of use and the rights of each course author.

Your credentials and your content

Your Hotmart email, password and access codes are used only inside the app, on your computer. Miteca S.A.S. does not receive or store them, and downloaded courses never pass through our servers. How we handle your purchase data is explained in the Privacy policy.

Price, payment and delivery

The current price is published on miteca.lat. Payment is charged in Colombian pesos through Mercado Pago, which processes your payment details; we never receive your card details.

Your key is shown on screen when Mercado Pago approves the payment and is sent to the email associated with the purchase. If the payment is pending, we send it once it is approved.

Operation and warranty

Miteca depends on how Hotmart works, and Hotmart may change its platform without notice. During the year of updates we will make reasonable efforts to keep compatibility, but we cannot guarantee that the app will work with every course or every Hotmart change.

This does not limit the legal warranty granted by Colombia's Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011). To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

Revocation

We may revoke a license obtained through fraud, with a reversed payment or chargeback, or used in breach of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is the one published on this page, with its update date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be settled before the courts of Medellín, without prejudice to consumer rights under applicable law.
